Really nice Byron. Great memory captured.

Great image. Bob Jacklin is just an all-around great individual. I have known him since 1971 when I made my first fishing trip to the Rocky Mountains with JC and another angling friend. He had a little fly shop that he ran during the summer and then went back to New Jersey to do taxidermy during the winter. Over the years he became a personal friend and he remains one of the stalwarts of the fly fishing world. You are privileged to know him.

Beautiful!

That’s a wonder picture and painting. Thanks for sharing that
with us Byron.

Thanks guys.
Bob is a great guy! And he tied Great Flies that catch fish.

What an honor for your Son! Bob was coming out of the Army as I was going in. Then started a lifetime of pursuing his passion for the outdoors and fly fishing. What a guy indeed! I remember meeting Lee and Joan Wulff at their home in Lew Bridge when I was stationed at Fort Drum, NY in the mid '80s. It was an experience I never forgot. I’m sure this experience will be the same for your son. BTW, who did the painting?

Love the watercolor. Bob is a great guy. I met him briefly on the Yellowstone a few weeks ago.
