A while back Montana Moose posted a picture of a steelhead he caught on a boa yarn leech. If I am corect that pattern is the same one I have use for the last two outings to chase bass & crappie with great success. I believe this pattern is worth consideration by FAOL anglers.
Moose used a size 6 hook as did I. The fly in the picture is on a size 4 Mustad 9671 as I think the bigger hook is warrant by the size of the fish I was hooking. The bead is a red Czech silver lined glass bead.
