Finally got it uploaded so I can post it. Was lucky enough to land 17 from 8-10". I think I missed at least that many more. Great evening.

If Bluegills jumped, no one would fish for bass !!

Very nice Donald, on dries or nymphs .

Excuse my spelling and Gramma, I hooked mondays and Fridays so I could either hunt or fish.
That fish was caught on a #12 cream scud under an indicator. During the evening I used a foam bug a friend of mine came up with, #10 popper, olive ice-dub leech, dragonfly nymph, & madam-X. The fish were quite spooky and changing flies seemed to be part of it. Catch a fish or two on a pattern, bites taper off, change flies, catch a coupla more. There was a HUGE damselfly migration going on.

I guess I should note that these fish were caught in 1 1/2-2’ of water. The spawn ended several weeks ago here. These fish had apparently followed the damselfly nymphs up toward the shoreline. They were climbing up all over my pram and electric motor to hatch out!!
