Scott,

Did you use a dubbing loop for the body? That is really buggy.

Regards,

Alberto

Alberto,

Nope; just gave it a good scrub with a Velcro brush. Loop dub would make for a nice effect.

Scott

I don’t always post on your ties, but I am a fan. I love the precision that goes into even your relatively simple ties. Nice looking fly that anyone can tie and catch fish. Maybe not as pretty as yours, but it’s a pattern that most can tie and get a good working fly.

Thanks for all of your shares.

Clay,

Thanks for the kind words. A fly worth tying and even if it isn’t pretty, they all look the same after a fish or two; like something the cat coughed up.

Scott

What dubbing mix did you use for the Hare’s Ear, that has alot of guardhairs in it. I like it.

Alberto,

I clipped some fur from a mask and ran it thru the coffee grinder; it was a hairy hare.

Scott
