What are the advantages/disadvantages of a black hook? I’m referring more to streamer/saltwater patterns…

Aesthetics…personal preference. Advantage?..you get what you want. Disadvantage?..they may cost you a bit more.

Interesting but in both cases those are black finished hooks, just more resistant than normal bronze, a little less than tinned is my understanding. Neither are listed as stainless steel, so one has to wonder at least. Good looking hooks, regardless.
