I can heartily recommend the Sage ZXL. Very nice rod. Mine is a 9ft for 5 wt., but I suspect it is similar in action to the 4 wt.
I totally agree with Byron. I have the 6 weight model of the ZXL and love it. It is a true medium action fly rod. I highly recommend the ZXL. If I didn’t have so many rods right now I would take this one in a heart beat.

That 6wt TFO BVK is my favorite all-purpose rod. Especially great for casting large poppers for largemouth and smallmouth bass.
