I am in the process of adding to my LM Bass box in preparation for spring. This is one of my favorite patterns as it has excellent action in the water and presents a nice large profile that attracts the larger bass here in Central Florida. The stinger hook is actually a size 2 double frog hook. I used fibers from a facial makeup brush for the tail because I like the white tips which attract attention when moving in the water. The stinger hook is dressed with Arctic Fox fur and the main hook is a size 2/0 Bass worm hook and it is dressed with Icelandic Sheep fur. I added the Fly Lips to give it more action in the water and a head made from Black Silly Winks foam. The collar is black synthetic dubbing brush. I always like to add 3D eyes to my streamers and give the head and eyes a coat of thin UV Epoxy for durability. My PB LB Bass (8.4lbs) caught on a flyrod was with on an all-black streamer like this in stained water.
