- 150 miles to Emigrant from Billings, 30 from Bozeman. Bozeman is a good airport, easy access to Livingston and then to Emigrant. Have a great time, you’ll be there at a good time.
OR! You might try joining FAOL at the Idaho Fish-In. Just tie up a bunch of Caddis on a 8 or 10 streamer hook with an orange or rust colored body. The Cutthroat will all be smiling with a welcome back grin. Great time, great fishing and great family.
LF has it right. Bozeman Easy in and Out of there. unlike some other airports. Just picked up my wife last week from there real easy to do. Ron
My wife has flown out of Bozeman, with me taking her to the airport. It’s a fine, small facility. With its proximity to your destination its a no brainer.

the sad part is, now i want summer to be over so i can get to my vaca…
Bozeman is a nice little airport and it should be your first choice HOWEVER be sure to check airfares. Flights into and out of Bozeman during the summer season are typically FULL, FULL, FULL which often makes the tickets more expensive. So, it’s best to check both and then make the call based on the fare differences. For me, if it was within $100 I’d go with Bozeman.
