Since Spinner1 started a thread counting down to opening day with some nice non-winter photos and they have been driving Betty crazy, I thought I’d just jump in the fray and ask for photos of anything fishing where there is no snow, but lots of sunshine, green grass, etc. to remind us of the good times to come wherever we find ourselves.
Betty’s monicer is that ‘Trouts Don’t Live In Ugly Places’, and I fully agree, so I’ll start this off with a few of my favorite places in their ‘prime’ of the year.
Betty, as you can tell, I just like giving you a hard time and hope you take this with the love and appreciation we all have for you:D
Buffalo River, Idaho:
Burns Creek, Idaho:
Henry’s Lake, Idaho:
Headwaters of the Henry’s Fork, Idaho:
Big Elk Creek, Idaho:
Kelly’s ‘No-Tellum’ Spring Creek, Idaho:
Big Lost River, Idaho:

What we like to catch the most on our favorite spring creek:
Well, Betty. Hope you like, and I hope others will add to your torture, er, I mean viewing pleasure!
Near Coffeepot Rapid on the Henry’s Fork.
Cave Falls, on Fall River, in the Southwest corner of Yellowstone Park.
These are just a couple that I have handy. Lots more where they came from. It’s too bad there aren’t any fish in them.
Betty, I just knew you were out there somewhere. Hope you like. Don’t pout too much as all of this is coming around again real soon so let this be a nice time to see where you want to go and start making plans for 2010!
