My cousins Second Steehead of the trip. The First was even bigger but we didn’t have a camera close by.
All three of these fish were hooked and landed in the exact same places. Two on one day and one on the next.
Obivously I missed something. Last year’s trip WHERE? Those are some feisty looking monsters. Thanks for sharing these pics. I’m certainly jealous.

Cool pics. Me, Flyguy5910 and another buddy were up there yesterday. We got into some smaller fish and had brief (and I do mean brief) opportunities at some big fish.
Little early yet. Water is very warm still. The water will stay at 185cfs until 4 Sep at least. Until we get rain in my oppinion. Wishing for cool wet weather myself.
Definitely early. We all had the steelie bug pretty bad so we gave it a shot. There were some big ones in there, but with the water temps around 68, I think they were a little reluctant. I guess the reservoir is about 7ft. below normal, so there not going to run the heavy Labor Day flows either.
Im going on sep 13 with my father. That gives me 17 days to get a few good storms. Then I am going again the first weekend in Oct with my father cousin uncle and 3 other family friends. Should be a good time.
If we don’t get rain in a month the snaggers will be everywhere. The last 2 years have been excellent with the high flows, loved it. It’s going to be wierd fishing without the high water.
