I made a few good casts today (my first time out), but I am not quite sure what I am doing wrong. Does anyone know of some online video help? I’m more of a visual learner. Thanks!

JC, I assume you’re kidding. There’s no bad language onthe site that I’m aware of. It is also the only site I am aware of with casting instruction videos, which is specifically what this poster requested.
If FAOL ever adds videos, I hope you’ll do at least one of you giving casting instructions. Really.
Thanks for the site, it is great. It’s got the videos I was looking for, but the casting instructions are written out and explained thoroughly and yet very easy to understand. Can’t wait to get out and practice what I learned.

JC, I was a bit shocked to hear you say that you found that expression on the site, so I just went back at looked for it. I didn’t read the whole site --just the home page, the intro to the fly casting section, the first casting lesson, and a random sample of others. I didn’t find any bad language on any of these pages
I did find that the site had changed since I had used it, though. It now has far fewer videos.
I’m not defending the sexyloops site; I’m “defending” myself. I respect FAOL’s values and would not knowingly respond to a thread here with a referral to a site that had grossly (pun intended) different values.

I would never knock another site even if it was a piece of crap. Some dorks like that stuff.
If you enjoy that site perhaps we are a bit on the dull side and you are wasting your time here being shocked at my accusations. Easy way to fix that.
