I rather like the look of this one

What is your catch rate on those flies? Or are they for show?

I’ve only tied them over the last 3 - 4 days.
I hope to try them sometime soon. They look good to me but the trout may have other ideas. One can but try.

Hi,
They look really good! I tied up a few Peter Ross’s just last night, and today, while looking at your first page, I got to thinking that the Peter Ross would be a neat pattern to do in this bead-style. I shouldn’t have been surprised to see that you had done it already on the next page! Looks better than I could have done!

Hi Jeff,
The Peter Ross is a very popular and successful sea-trout and loch fly here in Scotland and when I saw those silver lined crystal beads I thought Peter Ross bodies. I’ve retaken some of the pictures and added some more. The only way I can try them before the spring opening is in one of the rainbow stocked waters, they’ll probably work with them. They can be real fiddly to put together so I think I get back to more conventional fly tying for a while.

Donald,

Great looking bead flies, my friend. I’m going to have to copy a few of those, if you don’t mind.

Your web site is keeps improving every time I drop by. Keep up the good work.
