BEAD HEAD BEADS AND HOOKS & FISH COLOR RANGE

Okay guys, I have been trying to be a fly tyer for several years without much formal training. I have a hardtime getting beads on to hooks, Is it a matter of matching up the size of the beads with hooks or what.

Also, I know some animal can see a different range of colors in the spectrum than humans, i.e., some can see UV colors. Where do fish fit in on the color specturm?

heres a good bead to hook size chart (theres alot more doing a GOOGLE search).

keep it on your desktop for quick reference

A chart will solve it.

That would totally depend on the fish in question. I have always assumed that fish around the surface can see color just as well as humans, but not any better. If the fish actually key onto a color for feeding that is a whole different story and probably changes throught a year if not a day.

If anyone out there has any info on that I would be most interested also.
