Be afraid ... be very afraid!!

Here’s the “Planning Committee” for the 2007 Michigan Fish-In!!!

Yep!..You never know what dastardly ideas THIS crew will come up with at one of our Cabela’s meetings!
AAAARRRGGHH!!!
Mike

I may have to train the car to go north.

I’m glad that I don’t see a PLANK in the photo!
Doug

While I was not at that particular Planning commitee meeting, Be Advised the Plank is not verry Far away
Bill
AAARRRGGGGG

Oh no!!, … Comittee …

Did you know that someone once described a CAMEL as being a HORSE that was drawn by a Committee.

Bill was out getting the plank as he is “Chairman” of the board!

No self respecting pirate would be caught without Rum…but wait…whats in that red cup?

When I look at that picture I will always remember my 5 year old son who took it. The whole idea for this picture was his idea. He even had us all say AAARGH!! before he took the picture! :stuck_out_tongue:

That’s Jim trying to hide behind ohiotuber, FatBill,
Kaboom1 and of course your’s truly!! Jim’s son’s are offical junior pirate’s too and some dandy flycasters already.
Jonzee will be inducted into the planning committee at the next Cabela’s outing.
To be honest this group could not plan a 2 float parade!!
AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!

I knew the Pitt. Pirates have a FARM team to train their players, but I never new the REAL Pirates had Jr. Pirates in training.
The amazin things you learn on this site!
Doug   8)

I don’t have a team, but I have a farm. All FAOL’ers and Pirates (yes Betty, that includes you) are always welcome here at J-Farm in S.E. Michigan. Call ahead, we’ll leave a light on. My Daughters Pond about 3 miles away is stocked with Rainbow trout, Bass, Bluegill and Channel cats. I promise you, you won’t be disaponted. Except of course, they are so easy to catch you wil be yawning on your 10th fish…they fight like #$@#…wake up!!!

Jonezee,
You can bet this ol’ saltwater bluegill guidin’ pirate will come callin’!! There is little in life that can beat a great farm pond, & I’ll even spring for dinner!
Mike

Hey Jack, are you going to actually let anyone else help out for next year’s fish-in? I only do one quilt per person! Jean

Jean - I hear you are quilt stichin fly girl, that is a pretty neat combination. Have you heard about the Sisters Oregon outdoor quilt show? It is the largest of its kind in the world, always 2nd Saturday in July. This is the 31st or 32nd year I believe. You can combine fly fishing the world famous Metolius about 10 miles away or Crooked River or the Deschutes. You can both enjoy the quilt walk and the fly fishing, not to mention the incrediable scenary of the 3 Sisters Mountains and the magnificant Pondrosa pins. Sisters is an old ex logging town not turn tourist town. Still lots of history and the rodeo is about the same time too.
