Hello Speck!
Awesome flies!
Our user names are much too similar. Since you’ve been a member longer than I have, I will change my username to Spekers. (Now I just need to figure out how to do that…)
The best of the season to you!

Speck,
I like the first one, that would be a killer madtom/sculpin pattern. How flexible do you think it will be in the water? Did you tie it on a jig hook?
Regards,
Alberto
Alberto,
Sculpin/Madtom is exactly what I was trying to emulate. The Phentex yarn does “breathe” somewhat when the fly is jigged. It’s tied on a # 8 goldwire jig hook with a bead slipped on. I’m hoping to show it to a few big browns next season.

Any chance of getting detailed instructions for these patterns on the sight? They look great. Possible contenders for Fly Of The Week? Very innovative (in my opinion).

I’ll work on it. I’ll have to get my digital camera skills up to par!
