I’m getting nervous, We leave Monday for the Fish-In, Michele is all pumped and I have been tossing and turning so much at night my back is acting up.
Do people get skunked at these Fish-In’s, or am I having bad dreams. My clousers look like some of those spiked haired Punkers. and my nail polish is running 
The eyes look like the fish have been following some of the pirates on this board after the fishing.

Hey Philip,
If I'm any judge of these guys, for all
of their bluster and pirate hype, they are
all fine folks, down to the last man. I’m
sure there is not a one in the lot that
wouldn’t donate his last best fly and a bit
of tutorial to anyone who needed it. My
feeling is that above all, a good time will
be had, and barring unforeseen problems
beyond their control, everyone with a whit
of interest will catch fish and learn much
in the process. I envy you folks and pass
along my best wishes for a great and

First, take care of that back. with several days of fishing ahead, you’ll need it. I am sure there will be plenty of good flies to go around, and sometimes the ugly ones are best anyway. Last week, my friend had one of his best days fishing this year wit six caught, several that got off, and one big one that broke his line. I stood right next to him and caught nothing. so yes it is possible to get skunked even at home, but with several days and locations to try I am confident everyone will catch fish. The trout are in the shallows right now, and I saw someone catch a nice snook the other day so they are around too. As of today, the forcast for friday is 70’s and lots of sun! Not too hot, and not too cold!
