When I got home tonight Amy informed me that our long time neighbors and friends Bud and Judy had bad news. Bud has been diagnosed with late stage colorectal cancer. Right now it looks like chemotherapy is the best treatment for him. Bud just recently retired as a bus driver after many years with Capital Trailways as a tour bus driver. Bud is a real stand up kind of guy a very nice man who would give you the shirt off of his back. He loves driving his pick up truck, his motorcycle and taking out his riding tractor to mow the lawns for his elderly neighbors. He puts a plow on his tractor when it snows so he can help the borough and his neighbors. I don’t think Bud has ever charged anyone a penny for his help. Bud is also a Vietnam Veteran.
If you get a moment please put Bud and Judy in your prayers and well wishes.
Sorry to hear that. We have a very close family friend that has been going through surgery and now chemo for cancer since December, it’s about the roughest news a person can get. My prayers and best wishes for he & his whole family.
Thanks folks for your thought and prayers. Bud is a really nice guy. The VA is helping to take care of him. He is also a victim of Agent Orange Poisoning from his service in Vietnam. Our suspicion is that is where the cancer came from but he will be having more tests to confirm that.
