I finally finished the 9’ Montague Sunbeam- so I thought. Went out front to lawn cast it to give it’s preflite tests. Lined it up with DT7F, stripped out some line and began false casting a few reps. All of the sudden, I feel the cork give from the dried 40-50 year old glue and then cracks. Back to the workbench…
I was hoping to get some pics to share with y’all (esp. JC) but that’ll be another few weeks with all the honeydoooooos I’ve got around here.
