the head is made of foam . I actually do a frog in the same style but as a slider.

Thanks bugman . just trying to keep my poppers upgraded like the baitcaster’s topwater lures . If you look in a Bass Pro Shops or Cabela’s catalog , you’ll see many of the lures bare little resembelance to the lures of old .
