I have added a couple of new sections to my web-site.
They are the B-W. O. and the March Brown.
I am listing every pattern I can find - nymph, flymph, emerger, dun and spinner - for each fly.
At the moment the B-WO needs more pictures, and the March Brown quite a few more recipes and pictures.
I have not yet included North American patterns, I will in due course.
They are both on the front page of the web-site
Hope they are of interest.
Any comments and any sources of N. American patterns welcome.
Donald,
There’s some great information there for those who fish BWO’s and March Browns (I just happen to be a BWO fan). I’ll be trying several of those patterns.

Donald,
- Where do you find the time? Those are real nice patterns you have included on your website. I have to ask what is DFM floss? It’s listed in the pattern - B-W. O. Dun (Jim Nice).
Donald very nice I posted this a while back…
BWO (wet)
Hook: 14 wet
Thread: Grey silk
tail: medium dun barbules
body: olive rabbit
hackle: medium dun bramha hen
Wing: mallard quill
I have to see if I can find the source of the pattern…it might be a variation of one I found.
Donald, don’t forget to include BWOs tyed from snowshoe hare’s foot fur. Bascially this is The Usual tyed in BWO colors. I have really enjoyed using them lately. With a little Gink, they will float until you are ready to go home. They are also good to hang a dropper off of.

DFM was an early fluorescent floss, Daylight Fluorescent, can’t remember what the M stood for. Any Fluo floss will do of the right colour.
Send me all the recipes you can find for the North American section.
