Hey, all, just thought I’d share this amazing book I just got for my (26th) Birthday! It’s called “Cane Rods-Tips And Tapers” by Ray Gould. It’s got all sorts of rod building tips, and plans for a number of tools, but what I’m REEEAAALLLY excited about, is the fact that there are 40+ pages of rod tapers!!! Now I’ve just got to decide on which one I’m going to tackle next (after I finish the Dickerson I’m working on now).
Joe, check this site out…tapers, guide spacing formulae, lots of really good stuff and you can do your own here and develp a graph for your own taper
