wing - deer hair white
hackle - ginger

mash barb, start thread at 70% mark, wrap back to point above barb
tie in a hank of CH; trim butts to length (gap width)
tie in some peacock herl; twist around thread, wrap to 70% mark, tie off and trim
clean, stack, measure (tips even with egg sac) some deer hair
