I attended the Great Waters FF show here in Schaumburg, IL a couple of weekend ago. I was wearing my FAOL hat in hope of meeting or recruiting some members. Got a few thumbs up and I assumed they were in recognition of our website until at least one of the “thumb uppers” admitted that he too “hated AOL”.
If you too “hate AOL”, I’m told Betty, as she did 5 for me, can provide hats to demonstrate your disdain.
Marco - how was the show? Particularly the new concept of these 'learning centers". I’m eagerly anticipating the Twin Cities version, though I think it’s a little smaller.

I didn’t have much time there to take advantage of any of the presentations. In and out in about one hour. Only took time to meet Kathy Scott to buy a CD and a furled leader ( nice lady)

I’ve been to the Great Waters Expo in Minneapolis for the past 3 years. The “fly tying theater” was a great addition and I hope the learning centers are just as good.
