At long last.....

it is finished…my first…a 7-0 3/4wt bamboo built on a Mark Fitch blank. It is a modified F.E. Thomas taper with swelled butt

It has a strubble uplocking nickel silver reel seat with a zebra wood insert…strubble half wells which I modified the upper portion giving it a slight rounding

it has olive green silk wraps with antique gold tipping

It has black nickel silver snake guides, tiptop, and a black nickel agate stripping guide

Thank you all for all your help and advice in building this rod…I believe I may have to stream test this beauty tomorrow.

Beautiful, absolutely beautiful! Awaiting your report on its fishability tomorrow.

Your first  You are really talented. Now your gonna have to figger out how to keep the rest from Mama

SWEET!!! looks great

Great looking rod and great looking fish to go with it. Good thing you made sure there was no skunk on that new rod. Would be a shame to have it fishless.

This prism stimi you spoke of? Recipe?
