That is one beautiful picture!! Thanks for sharing it.

Someday I WILL see your beautiful country personally. This promise I made myself some time ago, and I will keep it.

Donald,

Lovely picture. The closest I have been to Scotland was Ireland. So close, yet so far away. I’ll be visiting a good friend in Ireland in the next few years and I will make it a point to visit Scotland as well. May be we can meet and wet a line or to have a pint.

Donald,

Absolutley lovely! What a scenic country you live in. Thanks for letting me know about UKflydressing.com. Several of the lads have posted pictures of their waters.

Beautiful photo. My wife and I are planning to visit Scotland one day. Much of my family line comes from Scotland (descended from John Byers of the Lindsay clan, who moved to Nova Scotia with his family back in the 1800s, and from the Cameron’s, which side I know less about) My parents have been, but I haven’t yet. Photos like these, though, make me want to start planning the trip now! Thanks.

Thanks Donald,
I am a decendant of Scotland & Ireland. My wife is a decendant of Wales. I pray that one day we be blessed with a visit to our ancestral homeland. Thank you for the picture.

Thanks, Donald. That is a very nice picture of a lovely land. Now I’m wondering what sort of tree that lonely one in the middle of the picture is. The general form is like an elm, but the trunk seems to be too thick for the height. Maybe a lone whitethorn (hawthorn)? Any idea, Donald?

Thanks,
Ed

Hey Donald,
Very nice view of your beautiful country. I also opened your web page and amazingly, I discovered, I could read Scottish. Must be the 4 years Latin training in high school for sure or perhaps the consumption of vast quantities of Scotland’s elixers. ( probably Glenmorangie 25yr)

Hey Donald - thanks for hte pic!

I walked the West Highland trail a couple of years ago - absolutely beautiful country - and your pic was a perfect reminder of how badly i want to go back and see it again!

I have pics from the trek on my website if you’re interested…
