This fly was introduced to me by my friend Gemrod, I did some research on it and found many variations have been done to it. I tried to keep it as original as possible. Word has it that the fly is an effective little streamer in the mountainous area where Gemrod lives in Arizona. I want to thank him for the gentle prodding he gave me to tie it, because it?s also VERY effective here in the east.
I was introduced to this fly when I moved to Arizona from California. I could not possibly count the number of fish I have caught on this fly. Fishing it from a float tube in one of the White Mountain lakes should almost be outlawed -> it makes catching fish too easy !!!
