Archives

I just noticed that the Archives sort of end at the first week or two of the 3rd Quarter 2009. Are the FOTWs not going to be archived any more, for future reference?

That would really be a shame to loose them. Could FAOL maybe put out a yearly CD with the Patterns on them? I would certainly be willing to buy them.

Gig,
When I click on Fly Tying in the Home menu, then Fly Archives, mine goes all the way back to 1997.

I believe that Ron is delaying updating the archives while he works on reworking the whole system. The flies are still in the archives; they are just diffficult to find for the technically challenged like myself without those links. Many of them are linked in the readers voice section of the board and a search for a specific pattern you recall might find it there.

Yes, all the old ones are still there, right up to the 3rd Quarter 2009. It stops there.
But all is well apparently. It’s just a re-work of the system. I was afraid maybe they were doing away with the Archives. They are one of my favorite features.

Recently I have been helping Ron, with the “Just Old Flies and stuff!” archive list. Wrong article was found at some of the URL listings, other articles where missing.

Here is an update of everything from the Proctor Fly, to the newest article…
