Elliott reported on a different string last night that he had been at Al’s last night and Al taught him how to tie a fly. Al seems to be in a good period right now.

amen to that, mantis. a couple weeks go by with no word, and one starts to think the worst.
lets hope that Al has a realization of his importance to the fly fishing world. not many people have the opportunity to realize how important they are. lets just hope that Al understands our compliments and heartfelt thank yous are not merely philosophicalor “eye candy” for the forum. lets hope he understands that each thank you is a personal, heartfelt, and deeply rewarded thank you…
