Another way of attaching leader to flyline

I don’t know if this was posted before, but I’d like to share with you another way to attach a leader to the flyline.

  1. Using a razor blade remove the outer core of the flyline about 1/4 inch or longer exposing the braided core
  2. Use a needle or anything pointy to open up the core.
  3. Insert the leader and apply a little Zap A Gap
  4. Remove the excess Zap A Gap and let dry for a minute.
    This will result in a tapered flyline to leader connection.
    Try it and you’ll be surprised how strong this connection is.
