gorgeous day on the bow, got to the river and fished from 10:30 to 6:30, long day, and i’m beat…lots of great fish to be had…had a personal best spring day with over 2 dozen trout to hand, and lost even more. mitch also caught over 2 dozen…just one of those awesome days…wrist, shins and feet hurt…will sleep well tonight

Seemed the only thing they wanted was the San Juan Worm, except the big pigs. The big guys took stoneflies and copper johns, but the rest of the day, it was a sanjuan day.
the one i pumped clogged my throat pumper with a leech, but we couldn’t pick up any on leechs…just an odd day

Im new to Red Deer and want to plan a pontoon trip down the bow, any suggestions on where to drop in and pull out. Cant wait to jump in my new toon.

well my planned float on the bow finally arrived and its miserible out with high winds and lots of snow. Just my luck oh well maby next weekend have to check with the wifes schedual:(:(
