Another question.....UV Glue.....how to clean it out of a vest

Hello all you good people.

uh…my Loon UV glue cap came off my tube in my vest pocket and wet it so bad…entire tube now empty.

How can I clean this out? It is messy and gooey. Don’t want uv light to hit it…

Heck E Dern…to put it in a washing machine I have to take ALL the tones of gadgets off the vest…

I don’t know what solvent or whatever cuts uv glue

Anyone know?

If it is petroleum based a solvent may be required, but first I would try Dawn dishwashing soap. The rescue folks used that to clean up animals after the Valdez oil spill, that is my best SWAG. I have found using a electric toothbrush can be very effective for a gentle scrubbing action.

Try a little bit of acetone on a test spot.

Thanks. Don’t know why I didn’t think of that. Toothbrush and Dawn…or acetone…or alcohol…etc
tks mucho
