Andrew's kids

Andrew Mann is working to put together a fly tying/fishing group from his school. All the materials, so far, are coming from HIS flytying desk.

Can’t we do better than that?!?

I know I have multiples of materials that will be sent to him. How 'bout you all too? Box 'em up, and e-mail him a request for a mailing address!

Trouts don’t live in ugly places

Thanks, Betty. Your generosity, and the generosity of other on this board, is greatly appreciated.

Andrew

Betty;
I’m rounding up stuff! I’ve got a ton of orange glow bug yarn!! I’ve also got 4 whip finishers?! (I’ve only got 2 hands)
Turkey Feathers, glass beads, assorted dubbing.
BTW. When I sent a couple of fly rods to Andrew the P.O. told me 4 to 6 weeks via regular mail!?!?!? So I sent them Priorty Mail. I also had to put a value on them.
I suggested that Andrew contact H&H for catalogues in case the kids want to get their own tools and materials.
I’ve got a package ready to go for Leonard’s
new flyfisher.
This is really getting into the Christmas Spirit!!

I feel more like I do now than I did when I got here!

Jack , Priority mail? Can’t send priority out of the U.S. …Sure it wasn’t Air Mail?

Everything I have ever sent to Canada seems to take forever. If you are around Toronto when the IWL show is going on stop and see me.

Also, Various Hackle growers will donate if you write to them. Use school envelope or paper with heading on it, something official from your school. Like LF says, write to Jeff at Mustad.

Hey Andrew,
Have you tried getting ahold of the local MNR, CA’s, DFO, and fly shops?
Troutfitters in Fergus or Grindstone Anglers in Waterdown may be able to donate some materials. They also may be able to provide somebody to go out and give a seminar or something. Joe De Laronde is the Fish Habitat Biologist for Fisheries and Oceans on the Maitland River and he may have some “outreach” materials and contacts. Try giving him a shout (519) 383-1501. The talks are good for any class, not just FF groups.

I’ll jump in. Betty is right, I have more “stuff” than I could use in the rest of my lifetime. I’ll get a package together with materials and hooks and get it out in the mail this week.

Andrew,

Did you list the address to send the materials to?
