not sure how many folks swing flies here…heck…I’m not sure why I built this rod as I’ve never handled a spey rod…I just like the quiet time when I’m building…thoughts and critique is always welcome…;))

One question. Is there some type of gold flecks in the wraps? I couldn’t tell from the pictures, but I thought I could see something.
yep…its a lil’ bling I add to my builds…its fine crafters gold dust…bout .50 at the dollar store…just kinda spices it up a tad…I add a small pinch to the thread epoxy so it is consistent on all wraps

I’m glad to see that - I’ve often wondered if you couldn’t add a little glitter of some kind to the epoxy. Very kewl.
