ADULT GREEN DAMSEL - Fly of the week - January 10, 2011

ADULT GREEN DAMSEL

Wes Newman brings us the Adult Green Damsel this week.

This Adult Green Damsel pattern is merely an adaptation of the Foam Stone with new material for the twisted body extension. The pattern produces well on rivers and stillwaters where damsel flies are present.

Back in March of 1999, Wes Newman’s “The Original Foam Stone” ran as the “Fly Of The Week”, and now Wes has contributed his second FOTW to FAOL. It was well worth the wait! ~Parnelli

Wes,

This is absolutely a beautiful pattern — I’m going to tie some up for my home waters — but I’m going to tie them up in blue.
