thread - Danville 6/0 red/brown
abdomen - tying thread (red)
thorax - peacock herl
wing - Congo Hair white
hackle - brown

mash barb, start thread at point above point, wrap halfway down the bend and build a tapered abdomen; brush with Sally
tie in some peacock, twist around thread and wrap to 3/4 mark; tie off/trim
start brown thread, tie in CH; trim butt/cover with thread
tie in hackle; wrap, tie off/trim
