What experiences does anybody have fishing Northern Abaco Island? Specifically the area around Coopers Town (the bight side, not the ocean side). I worked out that way several years ago before I got into fly fishing and am thinking about going back to check it out.
Other than bones what other species do you find there.

Haven?t fished around Coopers Town, but have fished Abaco Sound, Cherokee Sound and the Marls. Besides bonefish, you should have flats opportunities at barracudas, sharks, snappers, groupers and jacks.
Get a guide for a couple of days (or more). One day in the Marls as you should see plenty of bonefish there and another day around Coopers Town.
