A tying treasure

A tying treasure

When I was down in Albany, Oregon at the 2011 NW Fly Tyers Expo, I bought a complete set of fly tying DVD’s that the Oregon Council FFF was selling. There are 44 DVD’s, showing around 303 flies being tied, from start to finish. They started these videos in 1989 and the set goes thru 2009. The total minutes for all the videos is 4,151 or over 69 hours of tying enjoyment. These DVD’s are becoming part of the Alpine Fly Fishers Club, a FFF Charter Club based out of Puyallup, WA.

Sage,

Somewhere on the 2008 DVD is yours truely, tying a Baillie’s Black Spider. Fortunately, the rest of the tiers are much better at it than I. What a treat for the club membership.
