Have any of you who furl thread leaders ever considered furling glow in the dark thread? The thread is usually whitish, so it would blend against the “sky” of silver in a night time stream. But I was thinking one could hit a couple of inches of the leader with a flashlight, and use the glow spot as an indicator…

Been furling glow in the dark thread for over 5 years. The guys that fish the hex hatch in Michigan love em. I sell quite a few each year.

Coats & Clark has 3 - 4 colors, I made a pink one for someone a few years back.
es there are different color glow threads, but they all glow the same color, sort of a pale green.
