A Taste of NJ

Hey Everyone,

Since i dont see much about the eastern US or NJ on the board i figured it would be a good time (while its cold and im bored) to put up some of my pics of NJ rivers and streams. Some are biggers rivers and some are the smaller wild trout streams i prefer. Ill include a sampling of some of the wild fish NJ has too.
Anyone else from NJ feel free to add some pics. Ill do some tonight and maybe more later.

Wow, didn’t realize Jersey had that much to offer! How many different streams are represented there in the photos?

Very nicely done - thanks so much for sharing.

Thats 5 different streams. The first 6 pics are the same as well as another one.

Ill add more if i can.

Twis,

Thanks for the Jersey pics. Ole hairwing was born in Jersey City. Caught my first fish in Newark Bay. A killie. I go back now and the to visit Mom. Have a good opening day. Don’t spend too much at the fly fishing show.

Very nicely done indeed, T. I grew up in NJ many years ago and didn’t have the transportation to get to some of the streams that you have found. We just fished local ponds and feeder streams, but plenty good enough for a kid. I’m very happy to see that there are still some left. Protect them, that’s for sure.

You mean to tell me that I could have been fishing streams like that during the three years I was at Ft Dix? On second thought, I was a Drill Sergeant, didn’t have time to fish. Lovely streams anyway.

COOOOL!!! There is more to NJ than the casinos, waste sites and “What exit do you live on?” Very nice photo display twis. Keep’em coming. Jim

Tom - nice job! I know you fairly well and even I hadn’t seen some of those before. You’ve been holding out on me!

I’ll post a few more, if you don’t mind.

Jess, post up some of your nice KLG shots.

Thanks for the replies!

Okey doke - here ya go. You’re even in one of these. I threw in one of Columbia Lake also.

Yes i am. Im the person you can barely see in the middle left of the bottom pic.

Enjoyed the pictures. Much nicer than Camden (the only place I’ve ever stayed overnight in NJ)

Thank you for reminding us that New Jersey is a beautiful state! Hey, it is, after all, nicknamed “The Garden State”. Love the photos!

Nice photo’s - thanks for posting them!

Is it April yet??
