My daughter took a picture of what they call a “Sun Dog” caused by the sun reflecting off the clouds and snow. Thought I’d post it for those who may have not heard or seen one before. We’re getting slammed here with a major bizzard today.

Rainbow is caused by ice crystals, and portends cold weather in the next few days. Haul in some firewood.

When I see one of those sundogs, I shut down the computer, leave the office, get my pickup and chainsaw, and bring in a load of firewood. Even if I already have a yard full!

Has the cold weather hit yet Mikalo?
we just got through a 2 day blizzard here over the weekend, wind chills in the -30 to -40’s and about 10" of snow on the ground, drifts over 20+’ in some places. Today we actually hit the low 20’s but still got those dangerous wind chills. I like to take atleast a 2-3 walk a day, but haven’t been able to get out for the last few days … getting cabin fever pretty soon :rolleyes:
