Morning Norm. What do you think will be their benefit. They’re an interesting looking bead. Maybe it will cause the nymph to tumble mor like a natural in current? Curious to hear what you find out…may need to be an add to the bench:^) Thanks !
not sure there will be a distinct advantage of this style of bead over a regular seed bead other than maybe giving the impression of a bubble

Are they heavy enough to flip the fly over and make the fly ride with the hook point up?

I think they may be more prone to breakage but we’ll soon find out.
I have broken more than a few regular glass beads on rocks.
That’s the first thing that I thought of as well. I break regular beads on rocks and these are awfully thin on the one side. They do look different and for offering a product that has a twist from the normal is to be applauded. Never saw them before so thanks for making me aware of a new product Norm.

I’ve used a few of those… I didn’t see much difference in the normal bead as far as fish goes but they did break easier… I’m back to the regular glass myself…
