I recently learned that one of our members passed away. Thomas Watkins of Dunn,NC died last Friday according to an e-mail I received from his wife. He went by the user name Thomas.
A week or so back he had listed some flies for sale and I contacted him that I would buy them. After receiving them I e-mailed him letting him know I got them. His wife e-mailed back saying that he had passed away last Friday. I didn’t know him personally, but after looking at his past posts I learned that he was only 48 years old and had suffered from heart disease.
His wife was not aware that he was a member here so I told her that, with her permission, I would let others know. I’m sure you will join me in expressing our condolences to his family.
