A member of our family has passed on...

While on our way to Bass Pro Shops yesterday we got a call from Amy’s dad. Her uncle Dale had been diagnosed with cancer and given six months to live. He didn’t make it nearly that long. Her dad was calling to tell us that Uncle Dale had died. Poor fellow had really been suffering bad. Amy and I continued our shopping trip and we talked about his condition. Both of us are sad but we are relieved that he is no longer suffering.

We stood in front of the aquarium for a while, just watching the fish. That really helped to sooth both of us. Got her to smile for a little while. Poor Amy has really had a tough time as of late.

no one is ever prepared for this kind of thing no matter it be six months or a year. Death takes someone from us and that is cause for grief and sorry. Take care.

Eric,
Prayers go out to your family. His suffering is over.
God Bless,
Mike
