Every day I check the web cams from Deadwood and Sturgis, South Dakota. Obviously, these are some of my favorite places, other than Wyoming!!, and I get a kick out of seeing the seasonal changes, (motorcycle rally, street performances, gun battles) and daily changes, (snow amounts, rain, sun) on the familiar streets. In all my years of checking, today is the first day I’ve actually seen somebody I recognized!! An older gentleman, who daily walks his really old dog, through the town of Deadwood! What a hoot! Felt like home!!!

There is no web cam on a trout. <Yes, I googled it> I’m crushed. Crushed, I tell you!!! Oh, woe!!!

Dearest Betty, you should have known better. After all, “There ain’t no trout in South Dakota”…
