A hearty "Welcome Aboard" to all the new members!

Hi Folks,

A recent mod to the bulletin board resulted in the
moderators receiving notification of each new person
signing up to FAOL. I was both tickled and surprised
to see how many new folks have decided to join us on
FAOL. Dozens of folks each and every day are joining
our ranks.

I’d like to welcome them all and invite them to jump
right in and ask questions or offer advice. Each and
every new member brings something to the boards. It
adds dramatically to our knowledge base right across
the board. Whether it’s a specific skill or local
advice on an area we would like to fish for the first
time, more is better and we are definitly getting
more and more each and every day.G Again, welcome
to these new folks, and please drop by the chat room
in the evening and get to know some of the regulars.
Warm regards, Jim

I’d like to add a hearty welcome to all the new folks. Like my good friend, Jim Hatch, I also get notified of all the folks that are joining our ranks.

I’ve had the pleasure of several folks jumping into the chatroom on their first evening on FAOL and we had a great time. Those folks were complete (or at least aspiring) fish bums, so they fit right in with the chat crowd.

No matter what your fly fishing skill level, this is a great site to improve your fishing, casting and tying skills, plus make some great friends.

I also add my "Pull up a Chair’ to all of the new people we are seeing. Being a moderator I also get the print out of new sign ups.
Do not be bashful, pitch in and ask questions, add from your knowledge and help us make our FAOL even better.
I encourage each of you to come into the chat room and relax. No one grades on spelling. Most of us are slow typers and find an occasional fat finger.
Have fun with us. You might consider joining a “Swap” as this is one way to improve your own tying and to meet other like minded folks.

Please let me be the first “non-moderator” to welcome our newbies. This is a fantastic place full of friendly, helpful, & knowledgeable folks. Enjoy the ride…you’ll not regret it.
