I went out on my lunch hour today and caught 4 LMB! 3 were in the 8-10 inch range, the 4th was 13?, and over 2 lbs. That is by far the biggest bass I have ever caught! What fun. And it was on a 3 wt rod. Oh what a blast. He had a couple of jumps, but did not run like crazy. Just some hard pulls. But, I am happy happy happy! In Austin today it was 65 degrees at lunchtime, a very slight breeze, and lots of sunshine. A glorious day. I?ll send warm thoughts to all you northern folks so you can get out and have the same type of fun for yourselves, rather than reading about it on a bulletin board!

28 degrees here this morning. Warmed up in the afternoon though. Now if I could only quit shed hunting, and go fishin… :?

Why not write it up as a story and send it in for the panfish or warmwater sections?

Lovely, I am planning on the same medicine Thursday lunch time in a pond that produced over a 100 fish each for my son and I in a two hour bonanza last spring here in Richardson Texas(Dallas).
