Our son just called from Florida, where he and his fiance of 7 years were on a cruise, to tell us he got married! HOLY COW!!!

Now that certainly does qualify as an “OMG” moment. But, first things first; does she fly fish???
That was more than an ‘OMG’ moment, that was incredibly thoughtful of them.
No one had to arrange and stress over a big wedding.
None of her friends had to wear those horrible brides maid dresses.
No huge wedding expense for anyone (traditionally the brides family, but not so much anymore…)
Tell them I said ‘Way to go!’

Now you need to research just how much a full Rehearsal dinner would have cost you, the dress, the trappings, all that…this is how much money you can now justify spending at the fly shop. You may want to round out her outdoors activities with a nice fly fishing outfit as an extra wedding gift. Just a thought.
