took my daughter & a good friend fly fishing attached are the pic’s…
my father, the master who taught my daughter today, my mother (she’s very good also, but did not fish this day), my daughter (first timer), me, and a good friend of mine (first timer)
me & my daughter
better picture of the scenery where we were
this lady is a friend of my parents she had been in the mountains 3 times just to find a moose, and had not found one. I spotted one for her on our way out, and she was thrilled.
here I am the roly poly fisherman lol
here is my daughter (notice the nice dress sandals she wore lol)
we only fished a little over an hour we didn’t have more time then that. my daughter caught 2, my father 15, I caught about 5 & turned about another 15, and my friend caught zero. although he did still have fun, and wants to go again, and I presume I will have to do a better job of teaching him next time.
No matter who caught what or nothing, you did it in Wyoming. Like NO place on earth. AND, by the way, where were ya fishin. Looks like the PopoAgie near Lander???
I will tell you a bit more about my daughter she really is quite resilient. before hand I had all these dreams, probably pretty normal, of things I could pass along to my children.
then they are diagnosed autistic, and they are both quite severe. all of a sudden those dreams collapsed as it did not seem they would ever be cable of most of the things I hoped to share with them. along comes my daughter, an amazing person with a heart the size of Texas, and develops so far out of norms that I’m having to learn to live again as I can now do all those things with her I never thought I could.
my son is more severe, and may never leave home. however he constantly, like his sister, progresses beyond all expectations. he will take more years to get to where he can learn fly fishing, but I’m confident he will get there.
the comment ‘it doesn’t get any better’ is more true then you may know.
