Rib: Oval silver.
Body: Chartreuse SLF.
Wing: Chinchilla rabbit strip.
Hackle: White cockhackle.
I need to tidy up the head a bit.

That’s a fine-looking fly and I have little doubt that it would catch a variety of fish around Nashville. I think that you have just been a “bad influence” on me, again…

Nice to see you dressing flies again. I agree, tidy up the head a bit for a swap fly, but fish that one with confidence. It will bring strikes for sure.

Nice looking tie - get back on that vise and ride! 
Rabbit Matukas (black/silver) proved very successful for river smallmouth bass for me last year… except i tied them ‘upside-down’ on nymph hooks to (try and) keep the hook point out of the rocks better… but maybe thats not a matuka anymore. 
Reminds me i need to tie some more.
Very nice rabbit fly there Donald! That will definately take fish for you. If you find the wing gets trapped in the hook bend when casting, you can trim the skin just above the bend. If you’re careful not to cut the hairs, they will still lay back to give a very good wing length. It’s usually the skin that gets caught up. Trust me, the action of the hair in these is so seductive to trout that they won’t fuss about the head (at least I hope not, as yours looks as good as mine usually do!)
