It’s only 9 days until the Michigan Fish-In starts at Gates AuSable Lodge. We’re looking forward to seeing all our friends again this year, and sad that we won’t be seeing one special friend ever again (in this life).

We’re looking forward to meeting new friends, like John and Vicki Rich, who are new to the fish-in this year.

As usual most days will be totally open with no scheduled events. We will have a meet and greet one evening, as Joe has suggested, and gets to organize. And, of course the dinner on July 4th with the casting contest to follow.

There are special treats for everyone who attends, thanks to Jeff Pierce, aka Dr. Fish.

Lets all pray for great weather and a wonderful hatch.

Yikes! 6 days to finish up a couple swaps.

Well, that’s ok. I think we’re 80-something percent packed already. Not that we’re excited or anxious to go or anything.

Man I am feeling pretty sad as I will not be making it this year. I am hopping to make it for a day or 2 but it ain’t lookin good
